The Shark Cam is located below the Frying Pan Tower. The tower was built in 1966, near Southport, North Carolina, USA. The tower was originally designed to help ships manoeuvre through the shallow waters. Today, with GPS navigation systems, the tower is no longer used for its original purpose and is home to a thriving marine wildlife.
