This webcam points to the rocky shore of Stony Point Nature Reserve in Betty’s Bay, South Africa. The reserve is known for its large colony of African penguins, one of the only three mainland colonies in the country. Visitors can walk along a boardwalk in the reserve, which lets them see the penguins and other wildlife without disrupting their natural surroundings.
In addition to penguins, Stony Point hosts a variety of bird species and marine creatures. As a section of the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, it is overseen by the Overstrand Municipality, focusing on conservation and eco-tourism efforts.
