Live webcam from Plaza de Armas, located in the historic and cultural center of Cusco, Peru. Once known as “Huacaypata” during the Inca Empire, it was the site of important ceremonies and gatherings. Around the square there are many colonial area buildings, including the Cusco Cathedral and the Church of La Compañía de Jesús, showcasing a mix of Inca and Spanish architecture.
The square also hosts various cultural events, parades and festivals, such as the Inti Raymi, which celebrates the winter solstice and Inca New Year.
