Yavuzkemal live cam, located in the Dereli District of Giresun Province, Turkey, a dispersed town with a population of 2,361. The settlement, characteristic of the Black Sea region, is positioned to the west of the Aksu River, with distances of 20 kilometers (12 miles) to Dereli and 64 kilometers (40 miles) to Giresun.
Founded in the 14th century by a Turkmen tribe called Kırık, the town was originally named Nahiye’i Kırık, signifying its status as a subdistrict of Kırık. Historical records from the Ottoman Empire indicate a decline in the settlement’s population around 1485, possibly due to the transfer of some residents to the newly conquered Trabzon (Trabzon Empire).
