Live webcam from the Zolder Circuit, also known as Circuit Zolder or Terlaemen, an important motor racing track located in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium. The circuit has a rich history and challenging layout that has made it a key venue for various national and international racing events.
Inaugurated in 1963 and designed by architect Jules de Their and engineer Hans Hugenholtz, Zolder hosted the Belgian Grand Prix ten times between 1973 and 1984 and is notably remembered for the tragic accident that claimed the life of Formula One driver Gilles Villeneuve during qualifying in 1982.
The current track length is 4.011 kilometers (2.492 miles) and features 10 turns, combining fast straights with technical corners, including the tight Eerste Linkse, the challenging Kleine Chicane, and the high-speed Terlamenbocht. Zolder regularly hosts the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) series and the 24 Hours of Zolder endurance race, as well as the Cyclo-cross World Cup, showcasing its versatility.Â
