Mein Schiff Relax Webcam – The Last 12 Hours in Time-Lapse

🚢 Live Ship Tracker

About this webcam

The Mein Schiff Relax Webcam replays the last 12 hours aboard the first ship of TUI Cruises’ InTUItion class as a time-lapse, so half a day of sea, sky and harbor traffic plays out in just over a minute. The camera looks out from high on the ship across open water, and each frame carries a small stamp of the ship’s own clock. On sea days the sequence is mostly horizon, cloud and changing light. In port it turns busy, with quays, marinas, sailboats and workboats sliding through the frame as the vessel maneuvers in and out. The ship itself was built in Italy and christened in Spain in 2025. Because the clip always covers the previous half day, a night-time visit still shows the afternoon before, until darkness fills the later frames.

About Mein Schiff Relax

Mein Schiff Relax sails for TUI Cruises, a joint venture of TUI AG and Royal Caribbean. She is the lead ship of the InTUItion class, a larger design than the earlier Mein Schiff vessels, which carry around 2,500 guests each, and she was built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, on the Adriatic coast of northeastern Italy. She was launched on 28 November 2023, and the shipyard handed her over on 7 February 2025, after a build that involved more than 3,000 workers.

At 333 meters (1,093 feet) long and 42.1 meters (138 feet) wide, she carries up to 3,984 guests across 19 decks, served by a crew of about 1,535. Almost four in five of her 1,945 cabins have a balcony: the operator lists 1,531 balcony cabins, 118 junior suites and 32 suites, against 106 ocean view and 158 interior cabins. She sails under the flag of Malta.

The naming ceremony took place on 9 April 2025 in the port of Malaga, in front of more than 12,000 guests. Her godmother, Giuliana Rizzo, has worked as a crew member in the Mein Schiff fleet since 2015. TUI Cruises chief executive Wybcke Meier opened the evening, which ran for several hours under the motto “Relaxing rocks”.

What Can You See on the Mein Schiff Relax Webcam?

The camera faces outward from an upper deck, so the ship itself stays out of shot and the frame belongs to the water and whatever lies beyond it. Out at sea, the time-lapse compresses hours of open horizon into seconds, and weather fronts, squalls and sunsets move across the sky far faster than they do in person. Closer to land the scene fills up: coastlines and islands pass along the horizon, marinas and waterfront buildings line the edge of the frame, and sailboats, motorboats and ferries cut across the water in front of the ship. The most rewarding stretches are often arrivals and departures, when a slow harbor maneuver condenses into a few seconds of turning coastline. At night the Mein Schiff Relax Webcam darkens almost to black, and the view returns with first light.

An LNG Ship Built for Lower Emissions

Energy efficiency shaped much of the InTUItion design. Mein Schiff Relax runs on dual-fuel engines that burn liquefied natural gas or marine gas oil, with an installed output of about 60,000 kW. Fincantieri fitted catalytic converters that meet the Euro 6 standard, a turbine that generates power from the residual heat of the diesel generators, and a shore power connection. The builder puts in-port time at about 40 percent of the ship’s operating hours, and plugging into a quayside supply lets her run almost emission-free for that share. An onboard system also breaks organic waste down into recyclable material.

The machinery is designed to take bio-LNG or synthetic e-LNG in future as those fuels become available, without a change of engines. A sister ship, Mein Schiff Flow, follows the same design and was scheduled by the shipyard to set sail in mid-2026, which makes the pair the start of a new generation for a line whose earlier ships were numbered rather than named.
