About Sky Princess
Sky Princess is the fourth Royal Class ship in the Princess fleet. Fincantieri built her at its Monfalcone yard in Italy, laying the keel on July 5, 2018 and floating her out on February 14, 2019. She was delivered on October 15, 2019 and sailed her maiden voyage five days later, on October 20, a seven-day cruise between Athens and Barcelona.
The ship was christened on December 7, 2019 by two godmothers from the space program: NASA astronaut and Navy captain Kay Hire and NASA engineer Poppy Northcutt. With a gross tonnage of 145,281 GT, she carries 3,660 passengers and a crew of 1,346 across 19 decks, with a draught of 8.5 meters (28 feet). Diesel-electric generators drive two 18,000 kilowatt propulsion motors, and she is registered in Hamilton, Bermuda.

What Can You See on the Sky Princess Webcam?
Because the Sky Princess Webcam is mounted so high, the picture looks down on whatever surrounds the ship. At sea it is mostly water, horizon and weather, from flat calm and clear skies to low cloud and rain. Near land the frame fills with coastline, islands and other shipping, and in port it can take in a whole waterfront, with apartment blocks, harbor boats and the hills behind a city.
