The Star Princess Webcam carries the bridge cam of Star Princess, the second Sphere Class cruise ship built for Princess Cruises, which sailed her first voyage in October 2025. Princess refreshes the image automatically every five minutes over the ship’s satellite link, so the page shows a new still picture through the day rather than a video stream. A flagstaff stands at the bottom of the frame, and each image is stamped with the ship’s name, the time in UTC and in local time, the outside temperature, and a short caption about where the ship is or where she is heading. By day the picture can range from open ocean to a busy harbor, and after dark the camera switches to a grainy black and white view.
About Star Princess
Star Princess was built by Fincantieri at its Monfalcone yard in Italy and launched on September 26, 2024. After sea trials finished in August 2025, she sailed her maiden voyage on October 4, 2025, an 11-day Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona. She was christened on November 6, 2025 by Camila Alves and Matthew McConaughey, who used a giant bottle of their own Pantalones Tequila in place of champagne.
With a gross tonnage of 177,882 GT and a length of 345 meters (1,133 feet), she carries 4,300 passengers in 2,162 cabins with a crew of 1,547. She has 20 decks, 17 of them open to passengers, runs on liquefied natural gas, and is registered in Hamilton, Bermuda, under IMO number 9863120.

The Star Princess Webcam looks out from the bridge, high above the water. At sea the frame is mostly ocean, horizon and sky, and the weather reads clearly from the light and the cloud. Closer to land, coastlines, islands, breakwaters and other ships come into view, and in port the camera can look across terminals, quays and the town beyond. At night the low-light picture turns black and white and grainy, so the frames worth watching come in daylight. The overlay gives the time twice, in UTC and in the ship’s local time, which makes it easy to tell how fresh a frame is. Princess notes that image availability depends on visibility, weather and satellite connectivity, so a frame can lag behind or the camera can go quiet for a while.
