Live webcam from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The aquarium opened to the public on October 20, 1984. It is located on the site of a former sardine cannery on Cannery Row, overlooking the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
The Shark PTZ webcam is pointing to the 90-foot (27 meters) long Shark aquarium. Look closely, and you’ll see different types of sharks gliding around in front of you.
The Jelly webcam is pointing to the Pacific moon jellies (Aurelia labiata) aquarium. Observe the graceful movement of greater Pacific moon jellies (Aurelia labiata) as they drift with the currents, gently pulsing their translucent bells.
The aquarium features a wide variety of exhibits showcasing marine life from the local region and around the world. Some of its notable exhibits include the Kelp Forest, Open Sea, Sea Otters, Rocky Shore, and the Splash Zone for children.
Webcams are available from 7 AM to 7 PM (Pacific Time Zone).
