The Loserhütte webcam is located in Altaussee, a tranquil spa town in the federal state of Styria in Austria. This region is a dream for nature lovers. The small town is located high in the Austria Alps, at an elevation of 712 meters (2,336 feet) and surrounded by towering mountains, the highest of them being Schoenberg Mountain, reaching 2,093 meters (6,867 feet).
Salt mines are a key feature of the area, and Altaussee Salt Mine has a long history dating back hundreds of years.
